Not too long ago, the rapid spread of COVID-19 brought the world to a grinding halt.

Surely, you would remember that the initial days were chaotic, and the impact gradually compounded across almost every facet of life as the days progressed.


As we were coming to grips with reality, confronted with challenges, and acclimatized to the new normal, one aspect that emerged prominently was the global adoption of technology.


The pandemic catalyzed the accelerated “ as is “ adoption and the innovation cycle of technology. Added to that, it necessitated rapid adjustments in various sectors to cope with new emerging challenges across almost everything in our mundane lives.


One major seismic shift occurred in education, which was largely due to the already widespread use of online learning platforms. This transformation has not just altered the teaching and learning methods but also reshaped the trajectory of the future of education.


As we look ahead, it’s clear that EdTech will continue to evolve and shape the future of education. Especially even more with the recent advent and easy access of AI to re-image content delivery, curating methods of how teaching material can be customized to individual students depending on what works for each of them.


In other words, it’s surgical and not the traditional “ One Formula Fits All “ methodology, which was largely the case for eons.


My thoughts on two of the many other critical elements of technology that are helping education evolve with time.
